Se le avanguardie artistiche e i rivoluzionari sociali hanno sentito una particolare affinità l’uno con l’altro, prendendo in prestito i rispettivi linguaggi e idee, sembra essere stato nella misura in cui entrambi sono rimasti impegnati nell’idea. L’ultima verità nascosta del mondo è che è qualcosa che facciamo e che potremmo fare altrettanto facilmente in modo diverso.
If artistic avant-gardes and social revolutionaries have felt a particular affinity for one another, borrowing each other’s languages and ideas, it appears to have been insofar as both have remained committed to the idea. The ultimate hidden truth of the world is that it is something that we make and could just as easily make differently.
La natura non è più sommersa ma riemersa e con essa il mondo riemerge. Il mondo ricomincia a vivere.
Nature is no longer submerged but re-emerged and with it the world re-emerges. The world begins to live again.
Quando mi è stato proposto di partecipare al talk intitolato Towards 2050 – Visions from 2050, all’interno della splendida cornice della XVII Mostra Internazionale di Architettura della Biennale di Venezia, ho avuto modo di riflettere molto sulla tematica di come potrebbe essere il nostro futuro.
When I was asked to join the talk Towards 2050 – Visions from 2050, whitin the fantastic setting of the Biennale di Architettura in Venice in 2021, I had the opportunity to think thoroughly how our future will be.
